Questions people ask
How much does L40S 48GB cost per hour?
$2.25 per GPU-hour on-demand at CoreWeave as of 7 Sep 2026 (Spot $0.99 on the same list.). Other sourced prints: $0.99 spot at CoreWeave, $1.50 on-demand at Crusoe, $1.57 on-demand at DigitalOcean.
Why do L40S 48GB prices differ so much between clouds?
Because the terms differ. On-demand is a list price with no commitment; spot is interruptible and priced to fill idle capacity; reserved and one-year contracts trade a commitment for a lower rate; AWS Capacity Blocks are scheduled reservations, not on-demand. The tape never averages these: each print carries its venue, term and date.
Has the L40S 48GB price gone up or down?
No dated same-venue pair exists for a one-quarter change, so none is printed.
Is the L40S 48GB available to rent right now?
Listed on-demand at CoreWeave and Crusoe.
